Darrah Electric Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer for their new location in Chesterland, Ohio. Job Description: Includes but is not limited to • Responsible for the design of DC Power Supplies, Rectifiers, ACSwitch Assemblies, and various Power Electronic Solutions and systems. Qualification testing as needed. • Complete power calculations, thermal designs, single-line drawings, grounding plans, cable harness drawings, control schematics, interconnect diagrams and test procedures. • Specify electrical components required for a product design and provide details to Mechanical Engineer. • Develop equipment data sheets, bill of materials, submittal reviews and approvals, etc. • Cost estimating supporting Sales. • Assist Test Engineer with Failure Analysis testing and reporting. • Mentor and collaborate with team members. • Work closely with customers and suppliers. • Additional duties as assigned. Reports To: Vice President of Engineering Educational Requirements: • Minimum of a 4-Year Electrical Engineering Degree, or 5-10 years of experience with similar products. Previous Experience Requirements: • Designing with power semiconductors • Power System design, Electrical Drawings, Magnetics, Load Calculations, Protection Calculations • Microsoft Applications, SolidWorks, PSpice, Lab View, or similar programs Benefits after 90 days: Vacation, Health and company profit sharing.  1st shift from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.  *APPLY: * hr@darrahelectric.com
