Randstad is seeking an experienced Research Associate to work with a protein analytics team. This team is conducting research in plant biotechnology and you will assist in the delivery of quality results. This is an onsite position in St. Louis, MO. Relocation cost reimbursement is not available for this position, local candidates preferred.

salary: $27 - $32 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

You will be expected to contribute to process improvements for safety, quality, and throughput. Skills in automated western blots, multiplexed immunoassays, and protein extraction from plant matrixes are highly desirable. After training, you will be able to work with minimal supervision to perform these tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with at least 3 years of post-graduate research experience.

• Experience with ELISA assays, automated liquid handlers, and LIMS systems.

• Must be team players, reliable and have the desire to learn new skills.
