Roseann Mabry from Robert Half is partnering with a Chesterfield company that is needing a Account Manager/ Business Development Manager to join their staff due to growth. This role will require up to 10% travel, experience in real estate, property management, accounting or tax will be required. Must have 3 plus years of a successful sales track record making outbound phone calls. There are assigned territories, phone work for lead generation and appointment setting, in person meetings , data recorded in to Sales Logic system. 50% of the appointments will be generated by in house staff. The rest will be generated by your efforts.6 month training program. On completion of the training program there will be a bonus. The annual base salary for the Account Manager/ Business Development Manager will be up to 55K-60K with some commissions on a monthly basis. Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop assigned territories.
• Generate leads through phone work and set appointments for in-person meetings.
• Record all data into the Sales Logic system.
• Coordinate meetings and facilitate discussions to drive business growth.
• Deliver excellent customer service to maintain client relationships.
• Utilize MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint to prepare presentations and manage projects.
• Handle expense reports and ensure all financial documentation is accurate.
• Efficient document management.
• Utilize your project management skills to oversee various initiatives.
• Maintain a typing speed of under 45 WPM for efficient documentation and communication.
Requirements • Minimum of three years experience in an Account Manager role or similar within the service industry
• Proficient in coordinating meetings, including scheduling, facilitation, and preparing presentations
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a proven track record of maintaining and enhancing client relationships
• Experience with DocumentDirect for Windows (DDW) is essential
• Ability to accurately prepare and process expense reports
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint
• Demonstrable experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Typing speed of 45 WPM or less is required
• Must have strong organizational skills, particularly in scheduling and time management
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
