InterVision Systems, LLC seeks an AWS Senior Solutions Architect, to be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing highly complex cloud architectures including hybrid cloud environments and a broad array of AWS services.Will work with clients to determine their needs, understand their as-is environment, and will recommend target AWS architectures while referencing the underlying rationale for architecture decisions that are based on industry standards (e.g. Well Architected Framework).Will lead teams of engineers in the build out of complex hybrid cloud environments and lead large migrations.Will be expected to bring forward ideas on how to use latest AWS services to optimize environments and reduce technical debt.

The AWS Senior Solutions Architect must possess a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related degree (foreign degree is acceptable); plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in software engineering, which must specifically include employment experience in infrastructure development and implementation.

The AWS Senior Solutions Architect must also have documented employment experience with:

• Environment architecture, design, automation, network engineering, SAN Storage, systems administration, virtualization, monitoring, incident response, configuration management; AWS environments.
• Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models
• Extensive experience as Cloud Solutions Architect with AWS IaaS and PaaS (AWS EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Route53, DirectConnect, VPN, CloudFront, etc.)
• Experience with AWS managed services Amazon Kinesis, AWS Lambda, Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS), Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), and Amazon Simple Workflow Service (Amazon SWF).
• Experience with Web Services, API Gateways and application integration development and design
• Experience with Linux and Windows
• Experience with agile software development

This position is fully remote and may work from anywhere in the U.S.
