Aerotek is immediately hiring a Packaging Operator located in Chester, PA. We are seeking candidates with minimum 2 years of packaging experience in a fast paced production environment in Manufacturing or Warehouse facilities

Description: Working in a chemical manufacturing facility, packaging finished products for one of the largest producers

of products supplied in tire, rubber and paints & coatings industries and producers of adhesives and sealants.

Responsibilities:

-Package finished products into bags or bulk containers using semi-automated packaging equipment.

-Transport and load finished products using an industrial lift truck.

-Clean bag packaging and bulk loading equipment.

-Receive and stock shipping pallets and product bags.

-Inventory of packaging supplies and finished products.

-Daily housekeeping for Packaging Area

-Operation of Automated Palletizer and Stretch Wrapper.

-Will have to document all work. Each person will know how many bags/lbs they need to achieve. Will also document their down time.

-Consistently being on your feet and carrying 25+ lbs.

Ability to work independently

Schedule: (Full Time) Rotating 1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts (Ex: 7 on 2 off, 5 on 5 off, 7 on 2 off etc)

Environment: Manufacturing Facility

Pay Range: $21
