Serco is seeking to bring on an experienced Project Manager to lead various projects supporting US Naval and Military contracts.

This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain/transfer your DoD Secret security clearance.

Serco supports the U.S. Navy to deliver outstanding and quality of work aboard the U.S Navy Ships. The Senior Project Control Specialist will support program managers by providing program-level assistance to the Systems Integration & Installation programs to ensure deliverables and performance parameters are met. In this role, you will:

• Responsible for managing operational and technical aspects of waterfront/maritime project(s) and related task orders for GOVT customer(s) with revenue ranging from $3M - $15M

• Conduct cost management through continual cost control and review

• Provide planning and technical oversight of US Naval Activities in the maintenance and installation of communication systems

• Provide expertise to customers to ensure resolution of issues

• Requires advanced knowledge and understanding of work project(s) and functions. Typically manages a team of 20 or more employees. Has business development and budgetary responsibilities

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A U.S. citizenship

• The ability to obtain/maintain/transfer DoD Secret security clearance

• A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience

• Five or more years of Program Management experience working in a Defense based industry

• To be a strong leader with experience leading a team of a diverse trades workforce

• A good understanding of government multiple award contracts environment (MAC)

• To be able to travel at least 10% domestically

• Strong financial background in developing and managing budgets

• Strong analytical skills

• Problem solving skills

• Excellent communication skills with customers and team.
