Overview

FTI is currently looking for an expeditionary subject matter expert with Navy maintenance database experience and knowledge to include Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) (NON-CESE), Table of Allowances (TOA), and all associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience on various types of availabilities and repair activities maintenance procedures including Material Maintenance Management (3M) data flow and Casualty Reporting. Individual will recommend problem areas, suggest necessary corrections, and support development staff with expeditionary processes, procedures and current instructions. .

This job requires at least a DoD Secret clearance. The position will work at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek in Virginia Beach, VA

Responsibilities

• Uses Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) to include but not limited to Validation, Screening, Brokering (VSB) and Navy Maintenance Database (OMMS-NG / SKED 3.2 / OARS) to search correct configuration actions (CK), verify existing jobs and write maintenance actions (2K).

• Coordinate with various maintenance activities on tracking applicable CESE and other NON-CESE equipment maintenance availabilities to completion.

• Support the Current Ship’s Maintenance Project (CSMP) Reconciliation between OMMS-NG and VSB database on all NECC Commands.

• Support Casualty Report (CASREP) updates and tracking of CASREP jobs that affects NECC operational capabilities and mission areas.

• Understand and implement expeditionary processes and procedures of the NECC client.

• Submit process improvement recommendations to client based on strategic initiatives.

• Support development staff as maintenance tools are being developed to understand client needs and requirements.

Education/Qualifications

• Strong communication, written and documentation skills are required.

• Understanding of the Organizational Maintenance Management System strategic data flow to MFOM Data Center – VSB and OARS relationship are required.

• Requires a minimum 10 years of related materiel maintenance and readiness experience.
