The Role:

Senior Software Quality Engineer is responsible for working with SW QA and SW development teams. Test the features being developed and make sure of a great user experience.

• Working on the Gaming domain projects

• Make sure to deliver a great user experience with Quality

• Creating Test plans and cases

• Prioritizing and executing tests

• Preparing detailed test reports

• Tracking the bugs and investigating the root cause

• Perform manual QA including functional testing, regression testing, system testing, and compatibility testing

• Working in the lab to test the devices, integrations, drivers, protocols, etc.,

• Performing nonfunctional tests like compatibility, Localization and usability.

• Suggesting automatable software test coverage

• Actively engage with the developer and QA teams

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in desktop software testing

• Experience in the Gaming Domain is required

• Experience in different testing methodologies and testing tools

• Expertise in Bluetooth, WiFi, or other wireless & networking protocols.

• Experience with basic lab equipment (BT analyzers, Voltmeters, Oscilloscopes, etc.,)

• Excellent in writing quality bugs with all necessary information that helps for quicker debugging

• Familiarity with the software development process

• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

• Strong Communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively

• Good time management and organizational skills

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

• Relevant testing work experience with PC/Device hardware

• Exposure to Games and peripherals testing and passion towards gaming

• Experience with Python is a bonus

Education:

• BE / ME in Computer Science / Computer Application or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
