Job Summary

If you are a Design Engineer, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer with leadership skill to work with our Pervasive Sensing Team. This role will lead a team to generate Customer Drawings. You will also be responsible for leading and supporting customer drawings for Quotation, Project orders & MRO.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Manage the workload for the World Area customer drawing team.

• Understand the customer requirements and prepare the schematics.

• Work with internal teams/Factory for mounting instruments on Actuators for complex orders.

• Drive the team to achieve the service level expectations.

• Checking the General Arrangement Drawings for Projects/MRO.

• Understand Global Engineering Standards and implement them.

• Interact with PM to understand customer drawing requirements and get CAD files for buyout products.

• Process Outline Drawing for XMLs with Starred EM by identifying suitable replacement.

• Create Templates for Customer Special requirements.

• Prepares metrics and reports to Management

• Training and coach the team for the deliverables

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in CAD modelling.

• Experience in SolidWorks CAD.

• Experience in SolidWorks PDM.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering.

• Knowledge in Engineering Standards

• Experience in SolidWorks Macros is added advantage.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
