Position Description

NoSQL Developer will be responsible for developing, managing and optimizing NoSQL database, with a special emphasis on data migration, query optimization, building and defining tables/queries, as well as support existing system. As a cloud SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing NoSQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and maintain database systems to ensure high performance, availability, and security.

· Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and optimize database performance.

· Develop and implement data models, schemas, and structures to support efficient data storage and retrieval.

· Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving any potential bottlenecks or issues.

· Understands large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements.

· Builds data integrations for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using NoSQL and SQL technologies.

· Works with frontend, backend engineers and product teams, assists them with data-related technical issues.

· Quick Learner, trains team members on NoSQL database concepts and best practices.

· Prior experience in HVAC domain is a plus.

Required Skills:

· Strong knowledge and understanding of NoSQL database concepts (experience in Dynamo, Athena, Timestream a plus) and architecture, with hands-on experience in designing and developing NoSQL database solutions.

· Experience with database optimization techniques to improve performance and scalability.

· Familiarity with data modeling and schema design in NoSQL databases.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify efficient database solutions.

· Deep understanding of NoSQL and relational databases and database fundamentals, including data storage, data modeling, and data access patterns.

· Knowledge of database security principles and best practices.

· Experience with data migration and integration processes between different database systems.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent required.

· 6-10 years of experience in NoSQL and SQL databases.

· In-depth knowledge of database management systems and SQL.

· Proven experience as a NoSQL/SQL Developer, Data Analyst or in a similar role.

· Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
