Actalent Manufacturing Engineer in Cheney, Washington

Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

This Manufacturing Engineer will lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes within the assigned value stream. The role involves planning and improving production methods, estimating production times, and determining optimum staffing to meet production goals. The successful candidate will provide technical support across all manufacturing functions and will be a pivotal member of the engineering team, carrying out essential engineering initiatives with a focus on processes, supporting product design, and coordinating planning.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with developing and implementing manufacturing processes, tools, and improvements

  • Knowledge of technical, engineering, manufacturing, or production experience in manufacturing plants (2+ years)

  • Understanding of LEAN principles and experience in process improvement initiatives

Soft Skills

  • Leadership

  • Technical support capabilities

  • Strong planning and coordination skills

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cheney, Washington.

Work Environment

Primarily an onsite role, inside of a sheet metal manufacturing facility.
