About The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Administration / Customer Service Officer to join our team based in Cheltenham, Melbourne.

Reporting to the National Sales and Marketing Manager, this desk-based role will focus on both handling customer enquiries and troubleshooting issues, either by phone, email or in person with a focus on achieving ‘first call’ resolutions.

You will work within a team environment and your individual contributions will support the achievement of the team’s KPIs.

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Provide assistance to customers via phone, email, and face to face where applicable

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes

  • Contribute to continuous improvement

  • Keep up-to-date on product and process knowledge; &

  • Ensure the prompt resolution of customer enquiries

  • Answering telephones, transferring calls to appropriate staff members and take and relay messages

  • Ensure Reception / office area is kept tidy

  • Data Entry, document control, Register projects for quoting

  • Filing of folders / paperwork daily

  • Organising of mail bag / overnight bag (Toll)

  • Quote Follow Up

  • Maintain and Update phone lists and various site registers / logs

  • Produce business Letters, Reports, Notes, Emails

  • Orders, Invoicing and GL Coding (if applicable)

  • General site administration

    For you to be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and good time management skills

  • A “can do” attitude and strong customer focus

  • A highly motivated and an enthusiastic personality

  • An intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office applications

  • An ability to quickly reach an understanding of customers’ requirements

  • Ability to upskill and learn the technical/system aspects of the products on offer
