Robert Half Treasurer in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Description We are looking to bring on board a meticulous and experienced Treasurer in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, you will be managing our company's treasury function, shaping the strategy of Treasury, and assisting internal treasury users. This role is a key part of our corporate finance team and will play a crucial role in our company's financial management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily cash report and ensure clear communication of results to internal stakeholders.

• Forecast upcoming cash requirements accurately and on a daily basis, and develop liquidity strategies to meet cash outflows.

• Review monthly cash flow results and identify deviations from forecasts.

• Manage cash across various accounts to maintain appropriate funding levels.

• Act as a liaison to banking and credit card service providers, resolving banking issues for internal users.

• Support the execution of FX spot trades with internal users.

• Oversee banking documentation for new and existing accounts and evaluate banking services.

• Strategically manage the company’s monthly banking expenses to reduce or maintain costs.

• Assist internal users with the testing and setup of new bank features.

• Maintain relationships with banking, lending, and credit card institutions.

• Drive the technology strategy for banking and credit card processing.

• Develop training documentation and packages for internal users around Treasury practices. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Annual Budget planning and execution

• Experience in Budget Processes

• Knowledge of Capital Management

• Ability to handle Cash Applications

• Experience in Cash Flow Forecasts

• Expertise in Cash Flow Management

• Skills in Cash Flow Modeling

• Proficiency in Cash Forecasting

• Experience in Cash Management

• Knowledge of Corporate Treasury operations

• Understanding of Treasury Activities

• Experience in Treasury Management

• Ability to manage, plan, and coordinate treasury functions effectively

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
