A growing Chattanooga area manufacturer is seeking a Purchasing Manager. The Purchasing Manager will oversee the department in purchasing efforts, contract negotiation, vendor sourcing, vendor performance analysis, vendor relationship management, buying, policy and procedure improvements, and demand planning advisement on deliveries. This role is broad based and requires management and development of the department employees and collaboration with the other departments to ensure enterprise success. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a procurement role within the manufacturing industry

• Prior experience in Contract Negotiation, with experience in Raw Materials procurement

• Proficiency in managing Purchase Orders and Vendor Relationships

• Ability to monitor and evaluate Vendor Performance

• ERP experience and intermediate Excel exposure

• Previous management experience

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
