We are in search of a Director of Human Resources to join our team, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing all aspects of our Human Resources department, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and more. You will play a vital role in maintaining a positive culture and ensuring our HR processes operate smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Guide the executive team and field leaders in all human resources related activities

• Lead and motivate a team of HR professionals to deliver a comprehensive HR program

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations by studying existing and new legislation and advising management on necessary actions

• Offer HR support and consultation across the business on complex issues, supporting staff, managers, and executives in areas including recruitment, performance management, compensation and rewards, and staff relations

• Oversee talent acquisition, employment processing, compensation, benefits, payroll processing, records management, employee relations, talent development and training, retention, and labor relations

• Assess existing policies and procedures for compliance and organizational effectiveness and develop and implement workplace policies where needed

• Foster an inclusive and positive culture through HR program development and a comprehensive diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging strategy

• Coordinate with the company's legal representatives regarding state, federal, or litigated cases

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Human Resources.

• Demonstrated expertise in Benefit Functions is required.

• Strong Communication skills are essential.

• Candidate must have a robust understanding and experience in Compliance.

• Experience in managing Employee Relations is necessary.

• Proficiency in Hiring Processes is a must.

• Expertise in Onboarding new employees is required.

• Prior experience in conducting Employee Relations Investigations is essential.

• Knowledge and experience in Labor Employee Relations is necessary.

• Familiarity with the processes and regulations of Workers Compensation is required.

• Demonstrable experience in Talent Acquisition is a must.
