Description
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team for a position in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity, where you will be responsible for high-volume accounts payable processing, vendor and general ledger analysis, supporting Shared Services Department and utilizing intermediate technical skills.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage high volume accounts payable processing effectively
• Conduct comprehensive vendor and general ledger analysis
• Provide support to the Accounting Department in various tasks
• Develop and maintain detailed and accurate reports
• Utilize intermediate technical skills to streamline processes
• Ensure efficient data entry and invoice processing
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and ERP system for various tasks
• Ensure clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks
• Apply analytical skills to resolve issues and improve processes
Requirements
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices
• Proficiency in Data Entry and Invoice Processing
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with ERP systems, ie NetSuite, Great Plains, SAP, Oracle, etc
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Capacity to solve problems and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
