The position will require a balancing of delegation and hands-on participation as determined by the team members' experience levels and training. The role of a Principal Quality Engineer requires a strong understanding of quality management systems, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team. Acting as the subject matter expert on quality-related matters and provide guidance and support to stakeholders within the organization. Primary Responsibilities and Duties: * Be the Prime Quality Representative in ensuring the Entegris products and process meet established quality standards. * Understand customer and regulatory requirements and work cross-functionally to build quality into products, processes, and procedures. * Implementing and enforcing our quality management systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (ISO 9001, IECEx, ASME, PED, etc.). * Develop solutions to complex problems that enhance our data-drive and risk-based thinking culture. * Mentor and Coach quality engineers and other team members to develop their skills and subject knowledge. * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the product development lifecycle. * Provide leadership to the Change Control Management Board (CCMB) establish continuity and ownership to ensure changes are made methodically in support of our quality requirements, with subject matter experts input. * Develop Verification & Qualification (V&Q) requirements to ensure customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities are aligned. * Support and participate in a Continuous Improvement environment, always ensuring the highest standards are maintained. * Support Process Improvements to always ensure they are robust, efficient, and the highest standards are maintained. * Participate in audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. * Analyze data and conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues. * Be ready to learn.
