Job Title: Mold Technician
Job Description
As a Mold Technician, you will be responsible for setting/changing molds and auxiliary equipment, troubleshooting, and cycling in presses according to the setup instruction sheet to produce plastic components that meet customer specifications. Your duties will include performing insert changes on injection molds, evaluating and documenting changes to process sheets and setup instructions, correcting quality and cycle time deviations, and purging material from presses. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining plastic resins, grinding scrap parts, labeling materials, assisting in training press operators, counting production products, sampling tools and equipment, and creating maintenance and toolroom work orders in the ERP system. All necessary paperwork must be completed in a timely manner.
Hard Skills
Experience with Milicron, Demag, Van Dorn Demag, and Arburg machines
Ability to perform insert changes on injection molds
Proficiency in ERP systems
Knowledge of plastic resin maintenance

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Chaska, Minnesota.
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment; plastic injection molding. The work setting is climate controlled, well-lit, and clean.
