Job Description

The individual will be involved with the integration and mechanical assembly of medical equipment. They will use various hand and power tools to perform assemblies, reading from SOPs and following work instructions. The candidate will align, calibrate, and execute different test methods of various complexities, maintain accurate records, and execute work orders on time while following GMP practices with a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration and mechanical assembly of medical equipment.

• Utilize screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, strippers, and drills for assembly tasks.

• Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

• Align, calibrate, and execute various test methods.

• Maintain accurate records of assembly processes.

• Execute work orders on time.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

• Ensure focus on quality and safety at all times.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of experience in mechanical assembly.

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

• Experience with mechanical, electronic, and electrical assembly.

• Ability to follow documented procedures.

• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Device History Record (DHR).

• Ability to read and write in English.

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

• High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with integration is highly desirable.

• Non-jumpy work history with good attendance references.

• Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

Regulated manufacturing environment. Clean, climate-controlled, and well-lit work areas. The position consists of 80% standing at a work station, 15% walking, and up to 5% sitting. Each individual will have their own work station with height-adjustable tables and anti-fatigue mats.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
