The Analytics and Reporting team of the UVA Health System is seeking a data visualization expert to join our team. The position will involve development and deployment of novel visualizations as well as overall data product design with our team of data science and healthcare experts. Successful candidates will blend technical skills with creative vision to.

• Develop and deploy data visualizations for the UVA health system to meet the business requirements.

• Work closely with cross functional teams to design and develop the user-centered data visualization model.

• Create Tableau dashboards and reports for the health care providers and clinical staff members to make the data driven decisions.

• Interact with the leadership of the various departments across UVA health system to understand the objective, formulated metrics and data requirements.

• Analyze data, identify patterns and trends, interpret the results and present the findings of the analysis in the form of data visualization to the leadership to make informed decisions based on accurate insights.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Three (3) years of experience as an Engineer Senior, Data Visualization Designer, or in any related occupation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
