Cybersecurity Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Collaborate with stakeholders using an Agile process to ensure design implementation and continuous monitoring solutions across multiple domains. Lead a team to develop Risk Management Framework (RMF) Body of Evidence artifacts, including system security plans and cybersecurity concept of operations documents for Amazon Web Services (AWS) operating within cloud environments in alignment with existing RMF accreditation packages. Support accreditation activities to achieve and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) on multiple networks. Evaluate enhancements to cloud environments against RMF controls and DoD Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with securing computer systems, performing DoD accreditation activities, and writing security plans

-5+ years of experience in working with processes, regulations applicable to IT system assessments, and authorization for the RMF

-3 years of experience with conducting security evaluations for systems and applications and publishing RMF Body of Evidence artifacts

-1 year of experience with implementing a Continuous Monitoring plan IAW NIST 800-53, security solutions in multi-tenant cloud environments

-Experience with scripts and Bash to provide automated scanning or monitoring solutions, DoD Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes, activities, standards, and available analytic tools

-Ability to lead a project team and adapt to evolving requirements and deliver to project deadlines

-Top Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-Ability to achieve DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series Certification requirements for IAM or IAT Level III within 90 days of hire

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with cloud technologies, including AWS or Azure

-Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Windows system administration

-Experience with the US Army, DoD, or intelligence community Information Assurance (IA), including Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) or Information Assurance Manager (IAM) roles preferred

-Experience with eMASS or Xacta tools

-Knowledge of terminology and federal regulations applicable to specification, development, acquisition, and maintenance of IT systems

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in IT, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
