About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Video Engineer (Media Production Consultant) to support live virtual and in-person video events as part of the Public Affairs Communications and Brand Management team.

In this role, you will:

• Install, maintain, operate and troubleshoot video equipment located at our hub operation in Charlotte, NC, and other locations as needed

• Assist the Chief Engineer in maintaining and troubleshooting audio, video, and IP transmission equipment.

• Ensure signal integrity for video and IP transmissions to and from various locations across the Wells Fargo footprint.

• Coordinate and provide technical direction and support for the production of daily live events, including activities such as transmissions paths and file encoding.

• Receive direction from management and exercise independent judgment.

• Collaborate and consult with management or colleagues in technical operations.

• Ability to adapt and respond in changing live event environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Technical Operations experience, Video Equipment Operation experience, experience with a Production Agency or Broadcast Media company, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on video engineering experience

• 2+ years of experience in supporting live a broadcast or video production department

• Familiarity with A/V routers, monitoring, intercom systems, and computers

• Experience with HD-SDI, IP, NDI and Dante signals and distribution

• Demonstrable experience with cable management, and terminating video, audio, and ethernet cables and connectors

• Ability to read, create, and edit A/V wiring system drawings

• Practical application of PC based management and control of electronic equipment

• Experience with video collaboration platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and Cisco Videoconferencing

Job Expectations:

• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

• Hybrid in-office model (minimum of 3 days per week in office location)
