Robert Half Supply Chain Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Purchasing Agent to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting supplier accounts administration and negotiations in the warehousing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Administer supplier accounts effectively, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

• Handle supplier negotiations professionally, upholding the company's standards and principles.

• Utilize your training and human resources skills to provide quality service and support to our suppliers.

• Conduct regular auditing and troubleshooting to ensure the accuracy and optimization of our supplier accounts.

• Utilize digital methods and integration systems to streamline our supply chain logistics.

• Implement predictive analysis and critical thinking skills to enhance our warehousing operations.

• Use Mindset Software to manage and monitor supplier performance reviews.

• Uphold a high level of proficiency in managing supplier specifications.

• Work efficiently in a warehouse environment, demonstrating a solid understanding of system configuration.

Note: A HS Diploma/GED is required for this role. Requirements • Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role

• Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing software

• Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices

• Working understanding of warehouse operations and procedures

• Experience in managing and directing supply chain logistics

• Familiarity with principles of auditing and ability to troubleshoot

• Experience with workstation support and system configuration

• Proficiency in managing supplier relationships and optimizing the purchasing process

• Ability to integrate new methods and principles into existing purchasing strategies

• Experience in warehousing and knowledge of warehouse environment

• Proficiency in conducting performance reviews and ensuring quality service

• Ability to perform predictive analysis and demonstrate critical thinking

• Familiarity with Mindset Software for purchasing operations

• HS Diploma or equivalent qualification

• Strong understanding of supply chain logistics

• Ability to write clear specifications for products and services

• Experience in human resources administration

• Training skills to educate team members on purchasing processes and standards

• Ability to ensure accuracy in all operations and documents

• Knowledge in digital optimization methods and tools.
