Union Sr. Solutions Architect in Charlotte, North Carolina

Union's Technology Department is excited to open an opportunity for a Sr. Solutions Architect who will lead a subset of the agency’s high-performance products and designated team of developers. This role will work with the client's IT and Marketing teams to manage the business and technical requirements related to the product. A strong understanding of interfacing with multiple APIs and corresponding dependencies relating to application performance is paramount. This person will work with a team of on-shore and nearshore developers alongside dedicated project management and account management teams. Additional responsibilities include helping drive vision and solutions for Union's performance marketing technology integrations across our service lines (Data, Media, Creative, Studio, Projects, Account).

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Design and Architect business-focused technological solutions

  • Lead a team of developers to execute appropriate technology solutions with utmost quality

  • Assist on client calls and represent the solutions from a technical perspective

  • Provide clear insight into integration dependencies with third-party solutions

  • Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality work

  • Assist as needed with the development of front-end and backend overflow

  • Work closely with DevOps to ensure proper infrastructure, deployment pipeline, and monitoring are in place

  • Maintain clear documentation

Requirements

  • Full-stack expertise leaning on PHP, Node, HTML, and Javascript

  • ReactJS, Typescript, CraftCMS a plus

  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure and technologies, including Azure and AWS

  • Experience working in agile

  • Experience working with off-shore and contract engineering teams

  • Knowledge of the latest ADA practices

  • Experience with relational databases, non-relational databases a plus

  • Experience with Docker or similar container systems

  • High level of version control aptitude in managing branching strategies and code integrity

  • Strong communication skills with emphasis on the ability to speak in 'layman' terms

  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize work

  • Creativity and curiosity at the forefront of problem-solving
