As a Senior Director, Autonomous Operations here at Honeywell, you will lead as an innovative and visionary ISC Autonomous Operations Leader to drive the evolution of our supply chain into a fully autonomous, "hands-off-the-wheel" operation. As the Executive Senior Director, you will be responsible for transforming our strategic vision into a practical and actionable execution roadmap. You will leverage your deep expertise in supply chain management, manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, and advanced technology to lead the implementation of autonomous operations across the organization.

You will report directly to our CDAO and VP, Digital Integrated Supply Chain and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive roadmap to transition our supply chain operations to a fully autonomous model, aligning with the company’s long-term strategic goals.

  • Technology Integration: Lead the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, including AI, machine learning, robotics, and IoT, to enable autonomous operations across supply chain and manufacturing processes.

  • Process Optimization: Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to continuously improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency, ensuring that all supply chain operations are optimized for an autonomous environment.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, IT, R&D, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of autonomous operations initiatives with broader business objectives.

  • Change Management: Lead the organization through significant change, fostering a culture that embraces innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of autonomous operations and drive continuous improvement.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with the transition to autonomous operations and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth implementation.

  • Talent Development: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence. Mentor and develop talent within the organization to ensure readiness for future challenges.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 15+ years of experience in supply chain management, manufacturing, or operations, with a proven track record of leadership in complex, global environments.

  • Extensive experience in implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Demonstrated expertise in deploying advanced technologies within supply chain or manufacturing settings.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Preferred: Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain/Operations Management).
