Honeywell Sr Channel Marketing Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina

Join the Honeywell Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Channel Marketing Team as we transform our function and drive significant business value. The US&C Channel Marketing Specialist will drive a variety of analytical and strategic channel marketing tasks while working in a cross-functional environment. This individual will influence growth and expansion through data collection, analysis, and reporting of key metrics related to partners, competition, economic indicators, and market/industry trends. They will own critical tasks in a variety of projects focused on executing the US&C Partner Program and strategic priorities. In addition will influence key stakeholders within various business functions to drive project completion. They will leverage a variety of systems/tools to create business intelligence that will inform decisions and future strategy and goal setting.

Support the business by closely working with the sales and product management teams to drive business growth through our network of U.S. and Canada channel partners. Responsible for the development and execution of the annual partner program as well as key account channel marketing programs to ensure success in achieving growth goals.

The candidate will be expected to be a high-energy, creative, and resourceful self-starter who demonstrates leadership skills and instincts. Must be a hands-on person who possesses the best combination of strategic thinkings, marketing, and drive to achieve tangible business results.

The successful candidate will work closely with sales, marketing, finance, offer management, marcom, and IT, business partners and the management team to maximize growth, development and return on investment of the deployment of marketing plans/initiatives and how best to capitalize on the most advantageous business opportunities for channel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successfully launch the Honeywell Safety PPE Partner Program throughout the US&C

  • Collaborate with global peers to share best practices and process for an effective Partner

Program execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive analysis of Partner Program effectiveness, focusing

on growing sales

  • Providing guidance and leadership to develop partner insights and analytics based on

available data such as sales-in, POS, inventory, and market data

  • Show competency / understanding in basic analytic tools such as Salesforce, Tableau,

Marketo, PRM tools

  • Portfolio analysis and assessment to identify revenue and growth plans by market and

offering segment

  • Understanding the US&C industrial safety market – players/trends/technologies.

  • Understand the competitive landscape, how we win and why competitors win.

  • Create and execute channel marketing plans to generate awareness and drive demand. Both for new products and sustaining solutions.

  • In collaboration, set sales-in and sales-out targets for account managers

  • Lead marketing initiatives through channel partners, including partnerships, promotions and events

  • Manage regular communication and marketing assets for channel partners

  • Build relationships and be the voice of the channel to the business

  • Partner with channel partner’s marketing teams to execute strategic initiatives

  • Providing guidance and leadership to develop partner insights & analytics based on available data such as sales in, POS, inventory, and market data.

  • Gather, maintain, analyze report data and drive gap closure activities 

  • Functioning as a leader and champion to steer the end-to-end go-to market planning and execution for the Honeywell PPE brands and flagship products for the Retail and Ecommerce Division with key decision makers across our value chain.

  • Creating best-in class consumer experiences in-store and online with trade and online retail partners, while driving sales and increased brand preference

  • Planning and executing marketing campaigns targeting key consumer segments with a focus on driving sales through high value, strategic retailers and Honeywell-owned eCommerce platforms

  • Plan, oversee and ensure excellence in activation and execution of marketing programs and campaigns based on market and consumer insights to deliver consistent marketing messages that support and grow Honeywell PPE brands.

  • Developing commercial toolboxes, including sell-in material for the sales team, in-store POS materials for retailers, line review pitch decks and more.

  • Collaborate with sales, product management and other key functional stakeholders to create strategic messaging, assets, sell-in plans, and co-marketing programs that support company objectives and financial targets for Honeywell PPE with the retail and ecommerce segments.

  • Support retail key accounts with product packaging needs.

  • Leads the strategic direction, implementation, and adoption of the marketing technology

stack (Ex: Salsify, WIX, Adobe Magento, and more)

  • MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of Marketing, Channel Marketing, Portfolio Analysis, and/or Channel Management,

preferably in a B2B environment

  • A successful track record of implementing channel marketing growth initiatives and

activating plans to amplify Honeywell initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or relevant experience, MBA preferred
