Description

Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a Social Media Manager for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC.

Position Overview: The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our client’s social media strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current social media trends, excellent business writing skills, and the ability to create compelling content that drives engagement and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic.

  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).

  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales.

  • Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.

  • Develop and expand community and influencer outreach efforts.

  • Oversee design (i.e., Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).

  • Design, create, and manage promotions and social ad campaigns, being sure to integrate with the company’s overall marketing campaign plan and channels.

  • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.

  • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).

  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience in social media or related field.

  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.

  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.

  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO.

  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.

  • Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.

  • Fluency in English.

  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations preferred.
