Honeywell Senior Pricing Manager - Projects & Services in Charlotte, North Carolina

Work closely with marketing and product management, engineering, field sales organization, key business partners and the senior management team, to maximize the profitability of the business by systematically employing key pricing levers. You will manage the pricing strategies for current and future projects . You will be the driver and architect for pricing structure across the global organization. You will deliver financial impact by deploying best-in-class marketing tools and framework. You will be part of the recruitment, development, and retention of talented professionals to deliver best in class performance.

The Senior Pricing Manager is responsible for leading, managing and directing all pricing related activities for Honeywell Corporate. The successful candidate will work closely with marketing, sales, finance, and the senior management teams to maximize the profitability of the business by systematically deploying pricing actions. This person will own the analytics/processes that underpin a successful pricing program while successfully leading and mentoring a team of pricing analysts.

Specifically, she/he must:

Strategy & Planning

• Develop strategy for driving profitable business growth through pricing levers

• Drive the establishment of a global pricing structure including pricing analytics, operations, and transformation

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders for identifying pricing opportunities and providing inputs for managing portfolio and sales promotions.

• Take a customer-centric approach to uncovering, quantifying, and communicating financial value created by Software offerings

• Deliver financial impact from improved net price realization, by deploying best-in-class marketing tools and framework.

• Works with marketing leaders to ensure that enough market knowledge is present to support pricing excellence .

• Ensures pricing strategies are aligned to the overall strategic direction of the business and are clearly linked to financials and functional actions.

• Create long-term sustenance and institutionalization of the pricing culture in the organization through significantly improved framework on processes, a management operating system around pricing best practices and enablement.

Value / Transactional Pricing

• Value pricing: Work with marketing to understand and drive segmentation; understand value elements critical to customers; calculate value equations and target value propositions to customer segments to enable the right pricing actions.

• Transactional Pricing: Understand transactional pricing tool kit and analytical techniques and pricing waterfall tool; execute waterfall analysis and drive to actions with financial results.

Program & Project Management

• Establish a management operating system around pricing best practices and enablement.

• Establish and promotes the use of metrics to improve program effectiveness; Uses structured processes to manage programs/projects.

•Implement business analytics (reporting methodology, tools, and cadence) to support targeted outcomes

•Ensure consistent reporting and communication of pricing changes, deployments, and progress globally

•Lead pricing-related projects including establishing timelines, defining deliverables, and drafting communications or presentations ensuring effective change management

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or marketing • Min. 8-10 years total experience, of which at least 3-5 years of pricing experience

• 2+ years of experience with SaaS pricing and best practices

•Ability to develop relationships and work closely with cross functional teams

• Strong analytical, financial and excel modeling skills

WE VALUE

• Experience developing Price Waterfalls

• MBA is highly desirable

• Transactional pricing toolkit and value toolkit experience

• Understanding ERPs / data systems

• Demonstrated experience and understanding of linking price and business strategy

• Price management tools experience preferred: PROS software, Deal Desk, Tableau-based tools

• Demonstrated results in large, complex, matrix organizations

• Excellent planning, execution, and project-management skills

• Ability to convey information with clarity and directness
