Wells Fargo Senior Lead Product Manager - Client Profitability in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager to support our client profitability tools team within Finance. This individual will bring a strategic mindset, strong communication and change management skills, and a passion for driving initiatives that enhance decision making based on accurate client profitability. They will collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and agile delivery teams both within the team and across the organization. They will lead the strategy and resolution of complex challenges, facilitate business leadership decision-making, and serve as an experienced advisor for profitability and capital/balance sheet-related matters.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive effective and consistent communication for customer profitability change management across CB and CIB

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of complex challenges, facilitating business leadership decision-making through cross-functional strategic initiatives that enable ProfitView to help CIB and CB businesses execute on their profitability and capital objectives

  • Serve as an experienced advisor for profitability and capital/balance sheet-related matters, guiding leadership in developing business plans, requirements, product design, and implementation for complex needs

  • Partner with subject matter experts within risk, finance, treasury, credit, and other functional and business support teams to problem-solve complex topics that drive consistency in the evaluation of customer profitability, estimated losses, and capital allocation, across CB and CIB

  • Articulate product vision, define scope, prioritize backlog, establish goals, and provide direction for teams to design, develop, and deliver technology and processes for updating and upgrading technologies

  • Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, scrum masters, project managers, and delivery teams companywide

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of FP&A experience, including understanding balance sheets, income statements, financial statements, and profitability. Experience presenting financials to senior leaders

  • Base knowledge of CIB / CB's balance sheet, including key profitability drivers at the business and credit product level

  • Familiarity with regulatory capital rules and internal financial performance management concepts like funds transfer pricing and capital allocation

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI

  • Management consulting, investment banking, finance/treasury, or credit experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, and Excel especially as it relates to data analysis and presentation of information

  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills with the ability to influence various levels of management within finance and across CIB and CB businesses

  • Ability to synthesize disparate information into a cohesive strategy and execution plan. Excellent critical thinking and analysis skills

  • Ability to communicate complex topics in a simplified manner

  • Outstanding problem-solving and analysis skills with the ability to work independently or within cross-functional working groups

  • Demonstrates a keen sense of urgency in delivering work product while being able to prioritize and balance multiple projects concurrently
