Role Overview

Sodexo is in search of a results driven proposal expert with a knack for storytelling and strategic execution as a Proposal Manager. This is your opportunity to make a difference and join our Proposal Development Center (PDC).

As a Proposal Manager , you will work in a face-paced, collaborative environment and orchestrate the full proposal lifecycle —from creating and managing project timelines to crafting persuasive content that resonates with clients. You’ll work across departments to ensure each submission meets compliance standards, aligns with business objectives, and stands out in a competitive market.

This is a remote position. Candidates may reside anywhere within the U.S.

What You'll Do

The successful candidate will:

• Lead the Proposal Process – Manage end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, ensuring quality, compliance, and strategic alignment with sales and operations,

• Craft Winning Content – Develop compelling cover letters, executive summaries, and key messaging that highlight our value proposition

• Maintain a Competitive Edge – Research clients, competitors, and industry trends to create tailored, high-impact proposals

• Refine and Optimize – Identify new content from RFP for theRFPIO Answer Libraryand leverage our proprietary AI technology to continuously enhance proposal effectiveness

• Assess and Implement client changes and edits and responds with schedule impacts along with alternative methods and solutions

• Collaborate & Innovate – Partner with sales and client relationship executives to create winning themes and solutions that drive success

What You Bring

Is this the right opportunity for you? We are looking for candidates that have/are:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications , or a related field

• 3+ yearsof professional experience in proposal development, content creation, or a similar role

Writing & Communication Excellence:

• Strong, persuasive writing skills with a keen eye for detail

• Proficiency in Associated Press (AP) style standards

• Ability to adapt content for various audiences, purposes, and media

Project & Proposal Management:

• Exceptional project managementskills to handle multiple deadlines with precision

• Expertise in proposal management software, AI-driven automation, and digital tools

Technical Proficiency:

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) & Adobe Acrobat
