Description:

Candidates will operate production equipment to cut material into "coupons." These coupons will then be passed along to higher level machinists to be further refined into what is called a "specimen." Those specimens are then tested in various ways to ensure the product meets standards. This is a basic production operator role and candidates will not be required to perform any type of programming or offsets. Everything regarding the machine is already set up for the operator. They will be responsible for loading the parts and running the machine. Once parts have been ran, they will inspect them for quality and prepare them to be passed off to the higher level machinists.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Candidates MUST Have:

• Strong manufacturing experience and machine operating

• Must have operated machines that actually create a product

• Should be able to describe former experience in detail and walk through processes step by step

NICE to Have:

• CNC Experience

• Micrometer and Caliper Experience

• Read & Interpret Blueprints

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
