Honeywell Principal M&A Analyst, IT Supply Chain in Charlotte, North Carolina

Acting as member of the ITSC Cross Functional, Operations & Governance team, you will be responsible for defining and driving the overall direction, vision, deployment, and management for the functional scope of ITSC, in regards to all M&A activity (Plan, Buy, Make, Deliver, and Trade) across the Honeywell Enterprise.

As the M&A, Principal Analyst you will be a member of the team responsible for due diligence, estimation and execution across all ITSC functions, including all systems within the perimeter of each deal and all TSA agreements. You will partner with the service owners, service category owners, the M&A teams across all SBGs and the key ISC Stakeholders. You will also partner with Import, Export and Sanctions Leaders within the Honeywell Legal team. You will provide feedback and input to the M&A process helping to evolve the ITSC estimation process, building efficiencies and execution excellence into the overall MOS. You will foster a strong working relationship with key stakeholders to ensure that Honeywell preserves the key assets within each deal and fosters the intended growth strategy, globally. In this role you will be a critical liaison between IT and Business Stakeholders, holding both compliance and business value to the highest possible standards.

Key responsibilities include

  • M&A estimation and execution covering:

  • Customer requirements and prioritization (demand management)

  • Alignment to HON Standard Global Design Model

  • Technology and Industry currency

  • Technology Roadmap definition and platform/architecture evaluation

  • Testing, Training and Communication

  • Responsibility for Service Category Owner and Service Owner partnership as well as SBG IT leadership engagement relationships

  • Supplier management and oversight for solutioning, build and deploy activities on multiple concurrent projects.

  • Developing and deploying standard IT solutions across the Enterprise; ensuring 'best in class' processes are implemented; supporting implementation teams in their solution validation efforts; and ensuring common processes are defined and deployed.

  • Ensuring a common implementation and configuration of solutions are being deployed by external IT partners/preferred vendors.

You must have:

  • 8-10 years of proven functional experience in the IT Integrated Supply Chain functions, with deep understanding of dependencies and integrations

  • Merger & Acquisition process understanding and ability to demonstrate expertise

  • Leadership skills with the ability to rally the team around the vision, set high expectations and manage to expectations as well as oversight experience in the ITSC solutions or technology deployment space and functional/solutioning expertise in the areas of planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics and trade compliance.

  • Strategic solutioning skills with the ability to define the problem/issue and create effective strategies to manage our technology solutions

  • Excellent collaboration & negotiation skills with the ability to understand customer needs, negotiate complex issues and total value offerings to our customers.

  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English

  • BS degree or equivalent experience

  • Self-directed and able to troubleshoot and solve problems independently as well as a team

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and to communicate at all levels in the organization

  • Ability to engage in senior executive level relationships and engagements

  • Able to deal with ambiguity, and uncertainty while operating in a multi-cultural, global environment

  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills

  • Willingness to travel as per the project requirements
