Description We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be overseeing payroll functions for a growing team of over 150 employees across multiple states. You will also be responsible for managing benefits administration and addressing any employee inquiries related to benefits. The role also entails dealing with various accounting functions and software systems, providing ample opportunity to utilize and enhance your skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full cycle of payroll processing, including PTO, deductions, commissions, and non-exempt/exempt employees.

• Use your experience in handling acquisitions payroll to manage the movement and syncing of HRIS systems and payroll schedules.

• Administer benefits and manage open enrollments.

• Work closely with a broker to structure benefits.

• Address and answer all employee questions related to benefits.

• Use Accounting Software Systems to manage Accounts Payable (AP) and other accounting functions.

• Handle bi-monthly and semi-monthly payrolls.

• Manage multi-state payroll and local payroll tax.

• Process checks and manage benefits payroll. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Prior experience with accounting functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Understanding of benefit functions

• Ability to handle check processing

• Experience with Benefits Payroll

• Experience in processing bi-Monthly Payroll

• Proficiency in Full Cycle Payroll

• Ability to manage Multi-state Payroll

• Familiarity with Local Payroll Tax

• Prior experience with Payroll Taxes

• Experience with semi-Monthly Payrolls
