Contract Duration: 6 Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (ability to work with data and create reports consistently)

  • 3+ years of experience in either a middle office/risk role and/or equivalent experience in supporting any CIB trading products.

  • Knowledge and understanding of securities and products including:

  • Profit and loss attribution

  • RMBS Pass-Through bonds pricing and risk

  • Strong operational experience with complicated transactions

  • New Issue Bonds

  • Re-securitization

  • Deal Structuring

  • OTC activities

  • FINRA (Trace)

  • Must be able to problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking skills

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with trading applications such as Bloomberg, Calypso, and Broadridge

  • MS Access experience

  • Visual Basic Application (VBA) in MS Excel experience

What You Will Be Doing

  • Directly supports trading and hedging activities across TBA contracts, treasuries, futures, options, interest rate swaps, & CDS Index swaps.

  • Responsibilities include real time Profit & Loss generation and attribution, exception resolution, project management, position and trade maintenance, and regulatory reporting.

  • Interact closely with multiple business partners including Trading, Sales, Finance, Technology, Compliance, Auditors, MBS Allocations, Business Managers, Project Managers, and our internal TRACE reporting group.

  • Work with external counterparties, including government housing agencies (Ginnie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Fannie Mae), in confirming new Issue requests, exchanges, and assuring trades settle appropriately.

  • Responsible for a variety of day-to-day tasks, as well as ad hoc requests and project work.
