About this role
A successful Utility Technician will be responsible for monitoring inventory management, ordering, and scanning compliance. They will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports, and transfers. Responsibility includes but is not limited to answering materials scheduling & Planning, Warehouse (3PL), Production, and Engineering inquiries promptly. Assist in determining root causes of inventory discrepancies / material execution defects and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors. This person will serve as the back for all material execution roles (technician level). The schedule will be adjusted to meet the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as a first response to the line for Kits not delivered to the point of use and determine the best ordering method to deliver parts
Ability to work overtime and beyond 40 hours and weekends when needed to support production
Weekly logs clean up and updates
Backfill all material execution team functions as needed
Special Project management and coordination
Process documentation and improvement
Accountability for the accuracy of inventory
Any other tasks or projects may be assigned by the Supervisor or Manager
Always follow all safety rules and regulations.
Ability to organize daily activities and make quick decisions to support a fast-paced process-oriented operation.
Ability to be multi-functional in a stop-and-go operation.
Knowledge of parts required for production.
Ability to work independently offsite at the 3PL to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Responsibilities:
High School Diploma/GED
1+ years of high-volume data entry experience
Preferred Responsibilities:
3+ years of experience in positions with accurate high-volume data entry experience.
1+ year of experience with managing various levels of business and supplier’ relationships.
SAP Experience
Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, and reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work in a team as well as independently.
Proficient with computer knowledge
Must be able to follow procedures, and best practices and report unsafe and unprofessional behavior
