Wells Fargo Lead Software Engineer in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Full-Stack Lead Engineer to lead our state-side outbound team. You will lead an established team of seasoned professional that is currently supporting our legacy application while also being a driving voice as we build out our future, which is a cloud-based architecture. You will have responsibilities for the build and rollout of new applications, tools, platforms and services within our cloud environments. You will be empowered to always take the initiative, propose ideas, and innovate to enable modernization and Cloud adoption.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of individual contributor engineer roles with low to moderate complexity and less experienced managers who are responsible for building high quality capabilities with modern technology

  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs

  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors

  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 2+ years of experience with microservices

  • 1+ years of experience with Alvaria Dialer

  • At least current 1 Cloud certification (Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, Azure etc..)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Acqueon a plus

  • Contact center engineering/technology management experience.

  • Experience with Architecture and Design of enterprise systems

  • Outbound automated dialer experience

  • Knowledge of major outbound regulations (TCPA, FRCDA, etc.)

  • Vulnerability management

  • BCP management

  • Agile experience (preferably experienced with Jira and Confluence)

  • Understanding of product methodology and business partnerships required

  • Production incident management

  • Software Development Life Cycle and release management understanding

Salary info:

$111,100-$197,500 (NC, AZ, MN)

$122,200-$217,200 (NJ only)

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

  • Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $217,200.00
