Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position provides detailed accounting records and reconciliation for all budget transactions affecting the General Fund for the University. This includes preparing and entering budget revisions into the Banner Finance system for the campus, reconciling daily budget transactions to monthly reports, and providing assistance to departmental personnel in understanding their available budget.
General Funds Chart of Account maintenance
Administer budget revisions via Financial Transaction Request
Advise campus budget officers on the use of General Fund
Assist with
Biennial Budget preparation
General Fund projects/reports/requests/research etc.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Masters;
Bachelors and 2 yrs experience; or
Equivalent education/experience
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Higher Education experience, state or local governmental experience
