Job Title: Front-End Developer (Nuxt.js Stack)

Job Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Location: Fully Remote (East Coast Time Zone)

Work Hours: Aligns with East Coast business hours

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Front-End Developer with expertise in the Nuxt.js stack to join our team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. As a key member of our development team, you will focus on delivering exceptional front-end experiences for our web applications. This position is fully remote but requires availability during East Coast hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance front-end applications using Nuxt.js, Vue.js, and other modern JavaScript frameworks.

• Collaborate closely with back-end developers, designers, and product managers to create seamless and responsive user interfaces.

• Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and user experience across various devices.

• Ensure code quality through best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.

• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and code deployments.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within the application’s front-end.

• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our product.

  Requirements

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Nuxt.js and Vue.js framework development.

• Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like SASS or LESS), and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end components with back-end services.

• Understanding of SEO best practices as it relates to front-end development.

• Familiarity with responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS).

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with teams in different time zones.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Vuex.

• Experience with GraphQL or other modern API technologies.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Cypress.

• Experience working in an agile development environment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 3+ years of front-end development experience, with a strong focus on modern JavaScript frameworks.

• Proven experience delivering projects with Nuxt.js in a production environment.
