Insight Global Financial Reporting Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Financial Reporting Analyst for a large Automotive client in the Charlotte, NC area. This position will be hybrid (3 days in the office) to start and then will be flexible. This position is also eligible for a quarterly bonus based on EPS is 7.5% with a max of 10%.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assists with monthly consolidation of dealership subsidiaries (consolidating journal entries, rollforward preparation, research and problem solving, etc.)

  • Prepares monthly senior management and Board of Directors communications (operational, P&L and balance sheet analysis)

  • Prepares SEC filings (comparative financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, etc.)

  • Supports annual audit and quarterly reviews (prepare schedules, answer questions, etc.)

  • Coordinate with other departments (Corporate accounting, Tax, Database Management, Treasury, Forecasting/Budgeting, etc.) to accomplish Financial Reporting goals

  • Performs accounting policy research, support and implementation

Skills and Requirements

  • At least 1 year of combined public accounting and/or financial reporting experience

  • Attention to detail, organized, self-motivated, adaptable

  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities

  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and teamwork skills

  • CPA designation or in a position to earn CPA designation within one to two years

  • Fundamental computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Excel - Big Four or large regional firm experience preferred

  • SEC registrant preferred null
