Siemens Energy Factory Controller in Charlotte, North Carolina

A Snapshot of Your Day

You will join a finance team at its very inception and be a part of the largest Siemens Energy infrastructure investment in the United States. Working in a dynamic and diverse team with many opportunities to lead. You will join as a core member of the team that develops the processes and standards for a new factory which is essential to the Energy Transformation in the United States.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Establish and drive the Budget and Forecast Process.

  • Develops the cost account detailed for the assigned unit.

  • Analyzes and attributes variable and fixed cost portion to the respective cost accounts.

  • Ensures the accuracy of plant product cost criteria (i.e. material, labor, factory overhead, etc).

  • Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders.

  • Assist in internal auditing schedule of sales orders, purchase orders, expense reports, accounting documents, inventory transactions.

  • Perform inventory/cost of sales account reconciliations.

  • Supports on the implementation and calculation of Factory Productivity measures.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, commerce, accounting, or business administration. Professional designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) desirable.

  • Minimum 3+ years working experience as Financial Analyst, preferably in a Manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to interpret large amounts of financial data and complex processes and summarize it to present relevant information to senior management.

  • Proficiency and experience solving complex problems.

  • Experience innovatively adjusting processes and approaches to improve business impact.

  • Valued and recognized as a specialist in respective field and internally trusted advisor to functional or line management.

  • Provide specialized mentorship or train support and/or professional staff. Leadership qualities and role model qualities demonstrated.

  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Think-Cell).
