Job Description

The Corporate Quality Supervisor will report into the Senior Manager, Corporate Quality and is responsible for providing executional excellence support across BlueTriton brand factories. The role requires the Resource to improve Quality in partnership with other relative functions and adherence to the Quality Strategy. The Resource uses quality engineering tools and leadership to design quality into Blue Triton Products and processes. The Individual must create, review and update manufacturing directives and quality assurance plans at BlueTriton Manufacturing sites across BTB organization.

This role may also work on assigned projects that involve quality problem solving, data generation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting. The Individual must conduct or supervise quality performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to assure compliance to corporate quality policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements. The Corporate Resource must ensure the team is prepared and strives for excellence in audits of manufacturing plants and quality data and information, and proactively identifies quality risk areas, supports successful quality launch of new products, and recommends and implements improved quality assurance systems.

Work location. The role will sit in our Charlotte, NC. facility when not traveling.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Works closely with factory resources and Corporate Quality to design and implement effective Food Safety and Compliance systems & procedures in alignment with business objectives. Must support compliance with all BlueTriton Corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Additional duties and responsibilities include:

•Supports the National Strategy that will set the company up to achieve the strategic Quality Goals,

•Acts as a resource for/to Supply Chain to provide food safety and compliance assistance.

•Supports a process and metric-based approach for success in all Retail and Large Format Factories.

•Provides indirect support to new project initiatives through participation in team meetings as initiatives enter the facility.

•Creates, edits, updates and approves quality assurance program elements including Water Reports, , C of A’s, Quality Incidents, quality assurance surveillance and testing plans, assessments, quality standards, and GSTD requirements.

•Works with the direction of Senior Quality Manager to schedule, prioritize, and conduct quality assurance activities including site visits on a priority basis.

•Participates as a lead auditor in the food safety and quality auditing program

•Interprets quality results and provides recommendations from audits, assessments, and customer or consumer field quality concerns.

•Oversee the Change Management Program, ensuring risk assessments and mitigation strategies are completed.

Provide training and Food Safety guidance to factory Operations and Technical teams.

•Works cross functionally to upgrade and maintain a functional water report repository

•Drives ISO Certification at the Facilities.

Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

•Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, or related field.

•1-5 years related experience with quality systems

•Familiar with FSMA, FDA 21 CFR relating to Food Safety, Bottled Waters and Food Safety modernization Acts.

•Knowledge of ISO 220000 is an asset.

•Required to travel throughout North America (up to 30%)
