Cedar Fair Area Supervisor - Entertainment Production Services in Charlotte, North Carolina

Overview:

With some supervision, oversees aspects of Entertainment Production Services including shows, attractions, and festivals. Facilitates and oversees all Production Services team trainings and operation for Live Entertainment offerings. Maintains onboarding, training, and scheduling. Performs related administrative, supervisory, and professional tasks as required.

Responsibilities:

· Oversees day-to-day aspects of the department’s Production Services, including but not limited to, scheduling technicians, supervising the day-to-day production operations of up to (15) show locations, troubleshooting, and organizing/prioritizing the tasks involved with these areas.

· Has basic operational knowledge of tools and other building needs.

· Able to fulfill an on-duty role and assist in any troubleshooting that may be required.

· Assist with hiring of staff for all daily operations technicians. Filtering applicants and making sure they are eligible to be employed.

· Ensure safety standards are being upheld at all times

· Partner with Technical Install Area Supervisor to make sure all tech areas are clean, cleared, and/or organized at all times

· Keep Production venues clean at all times.

· Adheres to and enforce all Carowinds policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrate a commitment to guest service in all aspects of employment.

· Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Theatrical Study or work in related field- preferred

· 1-4 years related experience.

· Experience in developing high impact trainings and innovative work

· Experience leading and directing the work of others

· Must work well under pressure

· Basic computer skills including familiarity of spreadsheets, word processing.

· Attention to detail. Must have effective interpersonal, oral and written communications skills, especially for dealing with the public and managing a large volume of associates.

· Demonstrated supervision, management and accounting skills.

· Ability to pass a mandatory or random drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state or provincial law.

· Ability to pass a background check, which may include, but is not limited to credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

· Driver’s license required.
