What you’ll need to succeed as an Analyst, Technology at XPO

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 1 year of related experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience

  • Analytical and statistical examination skills

  • Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines and manage multiple projects

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and equivalent Google tools

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related experience

  • Experience working within the Coupa Platform

  • Experience with spend analytics, forecasting, and financials

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Create and monitor annual spend for all XPO IT

  • Interact with various levels of management

  • Analyze complex problems and develop and implement sound solutions

  • Perform technical analysis to assess present and future financial performance

  • Assist in designing, developing and tracking key performance indicators to drive strategic business improvements

  • Research and compile data for annual and monthly budget projections

  • Collaborate with department managers to review financial performance and future forecasts

  • Track revenue and expenses, comparing actuals to forecasts and making necessary adjustments

  • Prepare management reports summarizing research, analyses and evaluation of discrepancies
