Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Firm to Work For” and one of the nation’s most progressive design firms, is seeking Engineering Summer Interns (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural or Architectural Engineering) with a positive, collaborative work style and interest in designing building systems for our office in Charlotte, NC; Durham, NC; Washington, DC and Orlando, FL.

A bit more about this Internship opportunity:

We’re looking for a creative team player with strong communication & organizational skills. The candidate will preferably have experience using a variety of industry software including but not limited to: Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Activities may include: field site assessments, drafting, municipal permitting & entitlements, code research, material research and specifications. Our Interns work on real projects all summer under the mentoring of licensed engineers.

The successful applicant will gain exposure to a diverse range of skills in the profession. Working side by side with creative architects, designers, engineers, project managers and support staff you will gain valuable hands-on experience.

You’re ideal for this Internship if:

  • You are curious and creative, have a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking, and able to collaborate in a team setting;

  • You are studying Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical or Architectural Engineering and are a rising college junior, senior or graduate student.

  • You have knowledge of Revit, InDesign, Photoshop, and Sketch-up; and

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
