ManpowerGroup Administrative Assistant in Charlestown, Rhode Island

Our client, Medical Center is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

*IN OFFICE MONDAY - FRIDAY 8:30am - 4:30pm*

Location: Kingston, RI

Pay Range: $15-$17/hr

Responsibilities

· Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures

· Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner

· Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information

· Schedule and plan meetings and appointments

· Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages

· Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues

· Coordinate with others to ensure compliance with established policies

· Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues

· Perform receptionist duties when needed

· Handling incoming calls and other communications.

· Managing filing system.

· Provide information as needed.

· Greeting clients and visitors as needed.

· Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing.

· Helping organize and maintain office common areas.

· Performing general office clerk duties and errands.

· Organizing travel by booking accommodation and reservation needs as required.

· Coordinating events as necessary.

· Maintaining supply inventory.

· Maintaining office equipment as needed.

· Aiding with client reception as needed.

· Greeting vendors and visitors.

· Managing files.

· Updating paperwork and other documents.

· Performing other general office clerk duties and errands

· Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.

Requirements

· Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role

· Working knowledge of office equipment

· Thorough understanding of office management procedures

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving

· Warm personality with strong written and verbal communication skills

· Proficiency in MS Office

Education and other Requirements

· High school diploma/ GED

· 3+ years office experience
