Utility Worker

PeopleReady of Charleston, SC is now hiring Utility Workers! As an Utility Worker, you will perform a variety of tasks to help a cafeteria run smoothly. This is an excellent long-term position at a smoke-free campus. Free meals and paid parking are included!

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 -$16 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Utility Worker:

• Stock stations, move supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and load and unload deliveries

• Sweep and mop floors, wash surfaces, and remove trash

• Prep and slice ingredients

• Operating dishwashing equipment, mixers, ovens, and grills

• Assist with banquet tables and the front of the house

• Polish silverware, detail restrooms, and help with general food preparation  

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening) & Weekends

Job requirements:

• Food service experience helpful

• Effective communication skills and friendly customer service

• This is a smoke-free campus. Smoking of any kind is not allowed

• Background check and drug screening required.
