This is a Charge/Clinical RN Coordinator position, 4 rotating 9 hour shifts per week plus call (approximately every 6th weekend), offering competitive compensation, full benefits, sign-on bonus and relocation as well as a huge opportunity for growth as you'll be joining the largest provider of healthcare services in the country.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Medical Imaging Director, the CNC provides professional nursing care as directed by the physician(s) in accordance with established policies and procedures of Trident Health System. In collaboration with the patient, the patients’ family and other members of the Medical Imaging team, the CNC assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care based upon department volume. The coordinator provides safe nursing care, supervises and evaluates patient care and personnel performance, coordinates nursing activities with other departments and promotes good public relations. Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor.

What you will do in this role:

  • Act as a liaison between radiology and all facility areas.

  • Adapt to fluctuating team priorities and volumes, maintains positive working relationships, and demonstrates flexibility.

  • Act as a resource for radiologists, radiological technologists, and others concerning drugs for pain control, drug interactions and side effects, anticoagulants and medications that require special teaching.

  • Coordinate effective handling of patient care emergencies; such as contrast media reactions and cardiac arrests. Provides continuity of care for the critically ill patient.

  • Monitor the safety of patients with specialty equipment (e.g., arterial lines, hyper alimentation, intravenous fluids, drainage tubes, oxygen, and hemodynamic monitoring).

  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize nursing responsibilities within the department.

What Qualifications You will Need:

  • Current unencumbered South Carolina or Multistate Compact Registered Nurse License

  • BLS-Healthcare provider

  • ACLS

  • Have at least several years experience. Critical Care, Imaging, IR or Procedural experience is required.
