Job Summary :

The Pharmacy Analyst 340B is responsible for compliance, program integrity, and financial optimization for Roper St. Francis Healthcare’s 340B program. This role collaborates with the 340B Specialist to complete, validate, and document completed audits related to program compliance. The Pharmacy Analyst will ensure program management and coordination, configuration, and maintenance of split-billing software systems. This role is the subject matter expert for policies, processes, and procedures as they relate to the program.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Management or related field or year for year experience in required field (pharmacy).

Experience: At least two (2) years administrative and analytics experience.

Licensure/Certification: Apexus 340B University Certification preferred at time of hire, otherwise must be certified within one year of hire.

Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of pharmacy practices. Knowledge of hospital, retail, and infusion pharmacy medication distribution systems. Demonstrate progressive responsibilities with highly complex and confidential information. Exceptional people and organizational skills required. Analytical, self-motivated, creative, flexible, problem solver. Comfort in teaching large and small groups. Advanced PC skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel), Electronic Medical System(s), Wholesale distributer systems (Cardinal Order Express, McKesson Connect, etc.).

Other: Requires travel to all contract and covered entity locations

Contacts : Constant interaction with hospital leadership, physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff members.

Work Demands/Environment :

Requires prolonged standing or sitting. Requires frequent bending, stooping, or stretching. May require lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires the ability to distinguish letters and symbols. Requires normal vision range. Requires working under stressful conditions and working irregular hours. Frequent walking. Intermittent pushing or pulling up to 25 lbs. Frequent use of finger/hand dexterity. Frequent reaching with hands/arms. Corrected hearing and vision to normal range. Work is performed in the patient care areas, decentralized and main pharmacies. Possible exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue. Possible exposure to infectious materials, communicable diseases and/or other conditions common to a healthcare environment. Possible exposure to unclean environments, toxic substances, pharmaceutical preparations, hazardous and unsafe driving conditions, and other conditions common to a Pharmacy environment. Requires the use of office equipment, such as computer terminals, personal computers, and telephones. Requires the use of automated dispensing equipment. Requires work under stressful conditions, deadlines, or irregular hours. May be required to take call and/or work weekends/holidays based on the needs of the department. Travel between facilities is required. Ability to read and comprehend.
