Description We are looking for a diligent Credit Clerk to join our team. This role is based in Charleston, South Carolina, and is focused on managing customer credit applications and records in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent role and will require a full commitment to the office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure they are current and accurate

• Resolve customer credit inquiries professionally, providing detailed and accurate information

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly, identifying any irregularities or issues

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

• Utilize accounting software systems to manage and track credit applications and records

• Conduct Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions as required

• Perform bank reconciliations and billing functions as part of the role

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel and Outlook, to organize and manage data

• Gain familiarity with QuickBooks for potential transition from current systems. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suites

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Understanding of Billing Functions

• Proficiency in QuickBooks
