While reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager will be responsible for shift performance metrics, production scheduling, material planning and control, and managing over hourly employees across 3 shifts. Also, as part of the Management team you will be involved in safety, quality, productivity, material handling and cost performance, in a high-performance work team environment.

What you'll be doing:

• You will Lead the charge in Sonoco's safety first philosophy
• You will positively motivate a team of 4 direct reports and 57 indirect reports
• You will ideally have previous experience working with P&L, and may have some P&L responsibility
• You will have a relentless focus on continuous improvement in all areas to ensure process and manufacturing cost are always the most competitive in the industry.
• You will be committed to employee engagement and help them to reach their full potential.
• Manage raw material and department supply inventories and purchases.

This position is located in Charleroi, PA

We'd love to hear from you if:

• You have a BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• You will have 3 + years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years managing a team
• You will have Project Management experience, and ideally packaging experience

The annual base salary range for this role is from 116,960 to 131,580 plus quarterly target bonus.
